Competition Engineering has released our finest gear yet!! C.E.'s straight cut gears are 1141 medium-carbon high-grade steel made in the USA. They have a tensile strength of 97,000 PSI and a yield strength of 58,000 PSI. The gears are perpendicular and concentric. The are finished to .002 of backlash. The cam gears come with 0, 2, and 4 degree washers that are cut, not pressed, so you can degree your camshaft for ultimate performance.
